On a more personal note…

📍 I live in Bengaluru, India, and enjoy splitting my time between my home office, local coffee shops, and co-working spaces.

📚 I studied English Literature for my bachelor’s degree and went on to earn a master’s in Journalism and Mass Communication.

💬 My mother tongue is Bengali, and I grew up watching Hindi-language Bollywood films. English is my second language, but thanks to 15 years of English-medium education, it’s the one I’ve built my writing career in.

🎬 During my master’s program, a few of us made a short film in Bengali. It’s based on a short story by the famous Indian poet and writer Rabindranath Tagore. You can watch it on YouTube. Be sure to turn the captions (subtitles) on.

✨ Outside of work, I enjoy staying active, traveling, writing fiction, reading, and obsessing over great films and TV shows.
